How to cancel a PayPal subscription. Print

To cancel your PayPal subscription or recurring payment:

1. Go to  Profile and Settings.
2. Select My money on the left side of the page.
3. In the 'My pre-approved payments' section, click Update.
4. Select the seller whose agreement you want to cancel and click Cancel.
5. Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.

Note:

• You cant reactivate a recurring payment after you cancel it
• Canceling a payment doesnt cancel your contract with the merchant. You need to pay the merchant for any goods or services you've already received. If you need to contact the merchant to discuss this go to your Activity to find their contact details.

To cancel your customers subscription:

1. Go to Profile and Settings.
2. Select My selling preferences on the left side of the page.
3. In the 'Getting paid and managing risk' section, beside 'My automatic payments,' click Update.
4. In the 'My Customers' section with a list of all your subscribers, click the name of the client whose subscription you would like to cancel.
5. Click Cancel near the top of the page.
6. Select Yes to confirm the cancellation.
