Important Notes Before Adding Admins
⚠️ To ensure a stable and hassle-free experience, keep these tips in mind:
- You can add admins using either their Steam64ID or IdentityID, you can get a player Steam64ID from this website https://steamid.io/
- Only admins added via IdentityID currently support the priority queue feature.
- The game allows up to 20 admins, which you can configure by editing the
Server.jsonfile using the Text Editor option.- Admins added with Steam64ID do not support the priority queue at this time.
- You can obtain a player’s IdentityID from the Web Console while they are actively connected to the server. Alternatively, you can search for the player’s name in previous
console.logfiles using the Log Viewer button, as long as theLog Leveloption in theStart.batfile is set toNormal.- When editing the
Server.jsonfile using the Config Editor, you can easily enable or disable admin access without removing their IdentityID or Steam64ID. This allows you to manage admin permissions quickly as needed, without having to re-add users.
How to Add Admins to Server
- Click the Server Details button to find your BIS RCON password.
- Open the Web Console and paste the BIS RCON password when prompted.
- Type the players command to view all connected players and respective UID's.
- Copy the IdentityID (Player UID) of the player for whom you want to make an admin.
- Stop your server.
- Click on the Configuration Files button and edit the
Server.jsonfile using the Config Editor option. - Enable Admin 1 (or any available admin slot) and paste the copied IdentityID into the Admin 1 UID field.
- Start your server.
