Add yourself as admin on your Avorion server in under a minute: create a custom commandline with your Steam64ID in the game panel's Commandline Manager, select it and start the server.

How to add yourself as admin on your Avorion server

  1. Stop your server: press STOP in the game panel.
  2. Click the Commandline Manager button and create a New Custom Commandline.
  3. Add a Description (for example Admins), enter your Steam64ID and press Save.
  4. Now press Select to select the commandline you just created.
  5. Start your server: press START.

Your Steam64ID is the 17-digit number that starts with 7656119. You can find it in the Steam client under your account details.

Run admin commands

You can also use the Web Console button in the game panel for admin commands. Type /help to view all commands.

How do I add myself as admin on my Avorion server?

Stop the server, open Commandline Manager in the game panel and create a New Custom Commandline. Give it a description, enter your Steam64ID, press Save, then press Select to use that commandline and start the server.

How do I make another player admin?

Once you are admin, type /admin -a [player name] in the in-game chat while that player is online. /admin -r [player name] removes them again.

My admin rights don't work. What should I check?

Make sure you pressed Select on your custom commandline after saving it, and that the Steam64ID is your own 17-digit ID with no spaces. Restart the server after any change.
