Become admin on your Beasts of Bermuda server and unlock the admin commands: put your 64-bit Steam ID in the ServerAdmins line of game.ini, then restart.

Become admin to use Beasts of Bermuda admin commands

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Edit your game.ini file from the Configuration Files button.
  3. Replace the ID on the ServerAdmins line with your own 64-bit Steam ID (SteamID64) and save the file.
  4. Start your server.

For example:

ServerAdmins=(UserSteamId64=765611977434229267,AdminRank="DefaultAdmin")

The number in the example is a placeholder. A real SteamID64 is a 17-digit number that starts with 7656119. If your Steam profile has no custom URL, it's the number at the end of your profile link.

Add more admins

Add a new ServerAdmins=(...) line for each admin, each with their own SteamID64:

ServerAdmins=(UserSteamId64=SteamID64OfAdmin1,AdminRank="DefaultAdmin")
ServerAdmins=(UserSteamId64=SteamID64OfAdmin2,AdminRank="DefaultAdmin")

Beasts of Bermuda admin questions

Where can I find the Beasts of Bermuda admin commands?

Once you are admin, the commands are listed on the official Beasts of Bermuda console commands page. The Dedicated Servers page of the same wiki explains admin ranks and which commands each rank may use.

Why am I still not admin?

Check that you used your 17-digit SteamID64, not your Steam name or custom URL, that the line keeps the brackets and quotes exactly as in the example, and that you restarted the server after saving game.ini.
