Admin command questions

How do I use Avorion admin commands?

Add yourself as admin first. Then press Enter in game to open the chat, type the command with a slash in front, for example /kick [player name], and press Enter to confirm.

How do I ban a player on my Avorion server?

Type /ban [player name] to add the player to the blacklist, or /banip [player IP] to ban by IP. /unban and /unbanip lift the ban again.

Why don't my commands work?

Most commands need admin rights. Check that you added your Steam64ID as described in How to add yourself as admin and that the server was restarted afterwards.
