Transfer a domain to GTXGaming.co.uk in a few steps: unlock it and get the authorization code (epp code / auth code) from your current registrar, then order the transfer on our Transfer in a Domain page.

Before you transfer a domain to GTXGaming.co.uk

Prepare these two things at the company where your domain is registered now (your current registrar):

  • Unlock the domain. Most registrars lock domains against transfers. Switch the transfer lock (often called registrar lock or domain lock) off in your registrar's control panel.
  • Get the authorization code. To start a transfer you need the authorization code from your current registrar. It is often called the epp code or auth code. It acts as a password and is unique to your domain name, so keep it private.

How to transfer a domain to GTXGaming.co.uk

  1. Go to Domains › Transfer Domains to Us in the Client Area menu, or open Transfer in a Domain directly.
  2. Type your domain in the Domain Name field (for example example.com) and press Order Now.
  3. In the Authorization Code window, paste the code from your current registrar into the Epp Code / Auth Code field and press Confirm.
  4. Finish your order in the cart. Log in to your Client Area account first, or register one if you don't have one yet.

The transfer page says a transfer extends your domain by 1 year, excluding certain TLDs and recently renewed domains.

Keep your domain unlocked and don't change its owner details until the transfer is complete. If your registrar emails you to approve the transfer, approve it.
