Save your Empyrion world progress before a restart: connect to your server with Server Manager, choose a Save and Shutdown option, then restart the server so nothing is lost.

A plain restart can lose the progress made since the last autosave. Saving through Server Manager first writes everything to disk.

How to save your world progress before a restart

  1. Connect to your server using Server Manager, as explained in How to connect and use Server Manager.
  2. Choose a Save and Shutdown option.
  3. Restart the server.

Server Manager connects over Telnet. If you haven't set it up yet, the guide above shows how to enable Telnet in dedicated.yaml and where to find your Telnet Details.

Progress made since the last save can be lost. Use a Save and Shutdown option in Server Manager first to be safe.
