Change all Empyrion scenario game options settings on your server: pick the Custom Scenario and a new Game Name in settings.yaml, then edit gameoptions.yaml and start a new world.
Empyrion: Galactic Survival keeps the scenario choice and the game options in two files. You edit both from the Configuration Files button in the game panel.
How to change Empyrion scenario game options settings
- Stop the server.
- Press the Configuration Files button and edit the
settings.yamlfile with the Config Editor option (called EASY EDITOR in older panel versions). - Select the Custom Scenario you want to load, give it a new Game Name and press Save.
- Go back to Configuration Files, edit
gameoptions.yamland change the options you want. - Start the server.
This generates a new world with your new settings. A new world needs to be generated to apply the new settings, which is why you give it a new Game Name.
