Set up automatic Unturned Rocket Mod updates with a scheduled task in the game panel. This example updates Rocket Mod every 12 hours; the server stops and starts again for each update.
Rocket Mod (RocketMod) needs updating after Unturned updates, or your plugins can stop working. A scheduled task does it for you, so you don't have to remember.
How to set up automatic Unturned Rocket Mod updates
- Go to the Scheduled Tasks tab in your control panel.
- Create a new scheduled task and select the Update Rocket Mod option.
- Give it a name of your choice, 12 Hour Rocket Update for example.
- Select the date/hour you want the next Rocket Mod update to happen (*).
- Select Recur Every 1 Days.
- Select the Repeat task option.
- Select Repeat Every 12 hours.
- Select For 24 Hours.
- Save the task.

You can view the current server hour when you create the task. The hour shown in the hour field is the current server hour + 10 minutes margin. Compare that hour with your local hour, then set the next hour you want Rocket Mod to be updated.
In this example Rocket Mod updates every 12 hours. Want a different number of hours? Just change Repeat Every 12 hours to any number of hours of your choice.
The server stops during the update
The server will be stopped while this task runs. Keep that in mind when you set it up, and pick hours when few players are online.

How do I set up automatic Unturned Rocket Mod updates?
In the game panel, go to Scheduled Tasks, create a new task with the Update Rocket Mod option, set Recur Every 1 Days, tick Repeat task, set Repeat Every 12 hours and For 24 Hours, then save it.
Why did the update run at the wrong time?
The task uses the server's time, not your local time. When you create the task, check the current server hour shown in the hour field (server hour + 10 minutes) and work out your start time from the difference with your local hour.
