Set up automatic restart messages on your Unturned server: a scheduled Console/RCON task sends a Say warning, for example 15 minutes before every restart, so players aren't caught out.

How to set up Unturned restart messages
- Go to the Scheduled Tasks tab in your control panel.
- Create a new scheduled task and select the Console/RCON command option.
- Type your RCON password. You can get it from the Server Details button.
- In the Command to Execute box, type:
Say "Server will restart in 15 minutes" - Give it a name of your choice, for example 15 Minutes Restart Warning.
- Select the date / hour you want the restart message to show. For a 15 minute warning, for example, select 15 minutes before your restart scheduled task.
- Select Recur Every 1 Days.
- Select the Repeat task option.
- Select Repeat Every 12 hours if your restart scheduled task is set to every 12 hours. If not, adjust it to stay synced with your restart task time.
- Select For 24 Hours.
- Select the Script Parameters tab at the top and change the restart message if you want.
- Save the task.
How the example works
In this example a restart message shows 15 minutes before the restart scheduled task, every 12 hours. If you want the message at any other time, or your restart task is set to another hour, just adapt the times.
Want more than one warning? Create one task per warning, for example 15, 5 and 1 minute before the restart, each with its own message and start time.

How do I set up automatic restart messages on my Unturned server?
In Scheduled Tasks, create a Console/RCON command task with your RCON password and the command Say "Server will restart in 15 minutes". Start it 15 minutes before your restart task and repeat it on the same schedule, for example every 12 hours for 24 hours.
Where do I find my RCON password?
Press the Server Details button in the game panel. The RCON password is listed there.
The message shows at the wrong time. Why?
The message task and the restart task must use the same schedule. Check that both repeat every 12 hours (or whatever you chose) and that the message starts exactly 15 minutes before the restart.
