Set up automatic mod updates on your Conan Exiles server with an Update Workshop Mods scheduled task in the game panel, for example every 12 hours, so your mods stay in sync with the Steam Workshop.
How to set up automatic mod updates for Conan Exiles
- Go to the Scheduled Tasks tab in your control panel.
- Create a new scheduled task and select the Update Workshop Mods option.
- Give it a name of your choice, for example 12 Hour Mod Update.
- Select the date/hour you want the next update (and restart) to happen (*).
- Select Recur Every 1 Days.
- Select the Repeat task option.
- Select Repeat Every 12 hours.
- Select For 24 Hours.
- Save the task.
(*) Check the server time
Scheduled tasks run on the server's clock. You can view the current server hour with the Server Details button on your control panel, under the Server Local Time option. Set the task time in server time, not your own.
Want a different rhythm? Change Repeat Every, for example to 6 hours. Pick times when few players are online, as the server restarts to apply mod updates.

How do I update mods on my Conan Exiles server automatically?
Create a scheduled task of the type Update Workshop Mods in the game panel, set Recur Every 1 Days, tick Repeat task and set Repeat Every 12 hours for 24 hours. The server then checks for mod updates twice a day.
Why did my mod update run at the wrong time?
The task uses the server's local time, which may differ from yours. Check Server Local Time under Server Details and adjust the task time.
Players get a mod mismatch after an update. What now?
Players need the same mod versions as the server. Ask them to restart Steam so their Workshop mods update too, then rejoin.
