View your ARK logs in one click: press Log Viewer in the game panel to read your ARK: Survival Evolved server logs, download them to your computer or live stream them.
Server logs show what your ARK Survival Evolved server is doing: startup, mod loading, player joins and errors. They are the first place to look when the server crashes or won't start.
How to view your ARK logs
- Press the Log Viewer (*) button in your control panel.
You can view your server logs, download them to your computer or live stream them.
(*) Some games don't have Log Viewer support.
Where the ARK log files are
ARK: Survival Evolved writes its server log, ShooterGame.log, to the ShooterGame/Saved/Logs folder. You can also open that folder in the File Manager, for example to download older logs. See how to access your ARK: Survival Evolved server files and folders.
Server crashed? Open the log, scroll to the end and look at the last lines before it stopped. A mod or plugin named there is usually the cause.
