This guide will help you how to connect to your ARK: Survival Evolved Server from EPIC Store.
SERVER NOT SHOWING ON THE LIST
If your server not showing on the server list, don't get worried, it's a known issue from ARK for years, the ARK server list only lists 5000 servers at the same time, and exists around 30.000 servers.
Not all servers are listed every time, sometimes a server shows on the list today, then the next day doesn't show anymore, unfortunately, it's how ARK server list works and it's out of our control, if you can't find your server on the list, please use one of the methods below to connect to it.
HOW TO ENABLE STEAM/EPIC CROSSPLAY
- Stop your server
- Go to the Configuration Files button, edit Config.bat, scroll down til the bottom and enable the CROSSPLAY option
- Start your server and wait for it to go online
HOW TO CONNECT FROM EPIC STORE
- Start your server and wait for it to go online
- Copy the EPIC Connection IP:PORT from your game panel
- Open ARK on EPIC Store and go to HOST \ LOCAL menu, then PLAY SINGLE PLAYER menu
- Once inside the game, press the TAB key to open the console and type: open IP:PORT (you copied from STEP 2)
- Hit ENTER and the game will join the server
