Enable the ARK New Year Event on your server by adding -NewYearEvent to the CustomCodeInline field of Config.bat. You can also set your own event times with the NewYear1UTC and NewYear2UTC parameters.

How to enable the ARK New Year Event
- Stop your server.
- Go to the Configuration Files button and edit the
Config.batfile. - In the CustomCodeInline field, add the following command:
-NewYearEvent
- Save and start your server.

To modify the times, the following command line parameters can also be used in the CustomCodeOutline field:
?NewYear1UTC=1609477200?NewYear2UTC=1609497200You can use https://www.epochconverter.com/ to get your appropriate timestamp (Unix time in seconds, UTC).
The example above is from the 2021 event, which could not be run before Midnight EST on the 1st of January 2021. The official ARK wiki now gives the latest (2023) limit: the event cannot be run before Midnight EST on the 1st of January 2023, and the earliest worldwide time is ?NewYear1UTC=1672480800. If you wish to change your time, set it after that.
This event can only be run ONCE on a savefile (with 2 triggers). If a server is set to run the event at a time already passed, then on load the server will immediately trigger the gifts.

How do I enable the ARK New Year Event on my server?
Stop your server, open Configuration Files, edit Config.bat and add -NewYearEvent to the CustomCodeInline field. Save and start the server.
Can I choose when the New Year gifts drop?
Yes. Add ?NewYear1UTC= and ?NewYear2UTC= with your own Unix timestamps to the CustomCodeOutline field of Config.bat. A converter such as epochconverter.com gives you the timestamp for any date and time.
Can I run the New Year Event twice?
No. The event can only be run once on a save file, with 2 triggers. If the set time has already passed, the server triggers the gifts as soon as it loads.
