Install ARK Workshop maps on your Survival Evolved server from the game panel: stop it, install the map with Steam Workshop, pick it in the map selector of Config.bat, then start the server.
Custom maps from the Steam Workshop work like mods on your ARK: Survival Evolved server: the panel downloads the map, and you then tell the server to load it.
How to install ARK Workshop maps
- Stop the server.
- Go to the Steam Workshop button, find and install the map you want to run.
- Go to Configuration Files, edit the
Config.batfile and select the map from the map selector list. - Start the server.
Note: the map mod must be the first map to load in the mods list, or it will not work. Put its mod ID first in your active mods list.
If the map you installed is not on the list, please open a support ticket and we will assist you.
