Reinstall your game server back to a clean, default install from the GTX game panel when files are broken or you want a completely fresh start. It deletes all server files, but your backups and MySQL databases are kept.
A reinstall deletes every file on your server: worlds, saves, configs, mods and plugins. Download a backup first if there's anything you might want back. See How to download your server backups.
How to reinstall your server
- Log in to the game panel and open your server.
- Press STOP and wait until the server has fully stopped.
- Press MORE. A new page loads: click the [ Reinstall ] link.
- Keep the window open until the reinstall has finished.
- Press START.
What is kept and what is deleted

Do you really need a full reinstall?
Often a lighter fix does the job and keeps your world:

Reinstall questions
How long does a reinstall take?
Usually a few minutes. Big games take longer because all the game files are downloaded again. Don't close the window or start the server until it has finished.
Can I get my old world back after a reinstall?
Yes, if you have a backup. Backups are not touched by a reinstall: stop the server and use Restore Server, or upload the files you downloaded over SFTP.
Do I need to reinstall my mods?
Yes. A reinstall gives you the plain game, so install your mods and copy back any custom settings afterwards.
