This guide will help you on how to setup automatic restart messages for your ARK Survival Evolved game server.
- Go to Schedule Tasks tab in your Control Panel
- Create a new Schedule Task and select the Restart Message option
- Give it a name of your choice, 15 Minutes Restart Warning for example
- Select the date / hour you want the restart message to show, select 15 minutes before the restart schedule task for 15 minute warning for example
- Select Recur Every 1 Days
- Select Repeat task option
- Select Repeat Every 12 hours, if your restart schedule task is set to every 12 hours if not adjust it to be synced with your restart task time
- Select For 24 Hours
- Select the Script Parameters tab on top and change the restart message if you want
- Save the task
In this example a restart message will show 15 minutes before the restart schedule task for every 12 hours, if you want any other time to show the message or your restart task is set to another hour just adapt the times.
Everytime the restart message task is executed it will save automatically your world.
