To cancel a PayPal subscription or recurring payment, open your PayPal settings, find the seller's automatic payment and press Cancel. It stops future payments, but it doesn't cancel your service with the seller.
How to cancel a PayPal subscription or recurring payment
- Go to Profile and Settings.
- Select My money on the left side of the page.
- In the My pre-approved payments section, click Update.
- Select the seller whose agreement you want to cancel and click Cancel.
- Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.
Your PayPal menus look different? On PayPal's current website, go to Settings › Payments › Subscriptions and saved businesses or Automatic Payments, select the merchant and cancel the automatic payment there (source: PayPal Help Centre).
Note:
- You can't reactivate a recurring payment after you cancel it.
- Cancelling a payment doesn't cancel your contract with the merchant. You need to pay the merchant for any goods or services you've already received. If you need to contact the merchant to discuss this, go to your Activity to find their contact details.
Cancelling your GTX Gaming service
Cancelling the PayPal subscription only stops the payments. To end a GTX Gaming server or other service, cancel it in the Client Area as well: see How to cancel your service. How to cancel your customer's subscription (sellers)
Do you receive subscription payments through PayPal yourself? To cancel your customer's subscription:
- Go to Profile and Settings.
- Select My selling preferences on the left side of the page.
- In the Getting paid and managing risk section, beside My automatic payments, click Update.
- In the My Customers section with a list of all your subscribers, click the name of the client whose subscription you would like to cancel.
- Click Cancel near the top of the page.
- Select Yes to confirm the cancellation.

How do I cancel a PayPal subscription?
Log in to PayPal, open your settings and find your automatic payments (on the current PayPal website: Settings, Payments, Subscriptions and saved businesses or Automatic Payments). Select the seller and cancel the payment, then confirm.
Does cancelling my PayPal subscription cancel my GTX server?

Can I turn a cancelled PayPal recurring payment back on?
No, you can't reactivate a recurring payment after you cancel it, so only cancel it when you are sure.
I cancelled PayPal but want to keep my server. How do I pay?
Pay each renewal invoice in the Client Area. Renewal invoices are sent about 7 days before the due date, and you can pay by card, PayPal or bank transfer.
