How to cancel your service
- Log in to the Client Area.
- Go to Services › My Services and click the service you want to cancel.
- Press Request Cancellation in the menu on the left.
- Tell us briefly why you're leaving. It really helps us improve.
- Choose when it should end: End of Billing Period or Immediate, then confirm with Request Cancellation.
| Option | What happens |
| End of Billing Period | Your server keeps running until the time you've already paid for runs out, then it is removed. Best if you still want to play. |
| Immediate | Your server is removed straight away. Use this only when you are sure you're done with it. |
Stop automatic payments
Paying by PayPal subscription? Cancel the subscription in PayPal as well, as it doesn't always stop by itself. See How to cancel a PayPal subscription.
Paid by card? You can remove the saved card from your account: see How to delete a payment method or card.
Before you cancel
- Keep your world. Download a backup first so you can take your saves with you: How to download your server backups.
- Bored of the game? You don't have to cancel. Switch your server to a different game at any time.
- Paying for more than you need? Downgrade your slots, RAM or hardware instead.
- Something not working? Open a ticket. Our team is on hand 24/7 and most problems are fixed quickly.
Cancellation questions
Can I get a refund?
Every new service has a 24-hour cooling-off period: if it isn't right for you, open a ticket within 24 hours of ordering and we'll refund you. Dedicated servers can only be refunded for hardware problems. After 24 hours, refunds are at a manager's discretion. Full details are in our terms and conditions.
I changed my mind. Can I undo a cancellation?
Yes, as long as the server hasn't been removed yet. Open a ticket and we'll remove the cancellation request.
What happens if I just stop paying instead?
An unpaid server is suspended shortly after the due date and terminated once the invoice is 6 days overdue, and you keep getting payment reminders until then. Requesting a cancellation is cleaner: it stops the reminders and ends the service on the date you choose.
Why can't I see the Request Cancellation button?
Check that you are logged in to the account that owns the server and that you've opened the service itself under My Services. If it's still missing, open a ticket and we'll cancel it for you.
We hope to see you again soon. If we got something wrong, please tell us so we can put it right.
