Darkness Falls maps (pre-generated worlds)
Darkness Falls comes with pre-generated worlds you can use. These are the Darkness Falls pregen names: type the name exactly as written, including capitals, dashes and spaces.

PEP or NoPEP? PEP is the POI Expansion Pack: -PEP worlds include its extra points of interest, -NoPEP worlds don't. The size in the name runs from VSmall to Large. Bigger worlds take longer to generate and need more RAM.
How to load a Darkness Falls map on your server
- Stop your server: press STOP in the game panel.
- Go to Configuration Files and use the Config Editor on
serverconfig.xml. - Scroll to [Map Settings] and, under Game World, select Pregen/Custom.
- In the Pregen/Custom World Name and Game Name fields, type the name of the pregen world you want to load. Type the same name in both fields.
- Click Save & Exit and then Start your server (START).
First start: let the map generate
The first time can take up to 1 hour for the map to be fully generated.
Don't stop the server while the map generates, or the map will be corrupted and you'd need to start the generation again.
- Follow the progress by clicking the Web Console button.
- While the world is generating, you can ignore messages such as
[GSM] GameSparks Connected. - Once the world is generated the server says
GameServer.LogOn successful. From then on the server is online. - Check the Activity and Stats button for more information and to see if your server is querying.
Questions
How do I play the Darkness Falls SuperCity map?
Stop the server, open serverconfig.xml with the Config Editor, set Game World to Pregen/Custom and type SuperCityV1-DFPEP in both the Pregen/Custom World Name and Game Name fields. Save, start the server and let it generate without stopping it.
Can I use a normal 7 Days to Die map with Darkness Falls?
You can, but a vanilla map won't have the Darkness Falls points of interest. For the full Darkness Falls experience, pick one of the Darkness Falls maps above.
My Darkness Falls map didn't load. What went wrong?
