Install the ARK: Survival Evolved Extinction DLC on your server: run a Steam update to download it, pick Extinction as the map in Config.bat, then wipe the server for a fresh start.
Extinction is a story DLC map for ARK: Survival Evolved. Here is how to switch your GTX server to it in the control panel.
Install the ARK: Survival Evolved Extinction DLC
- Log in to our control panel: https://gamepanel.gtxgaming.co.uk/
- Run the Steam Update. The DLC is around 20GB in total and may take some time, so wait patiently for the SteamCMD download to finish.
If it says it is up to date and you know it has not downloaded anything, try deleting the
steamappsfolder in the File Manager and then running the Steam update again. - Go to Configuration Files in the control panel.
- Click Easy Configurator (the Config Editor in the current panel) on the
Config.bat, choose Extinction in the drop-down menu and click SAVE. - Then go to the main game server page and click WIPE SERVER, as you need a fresh server for Extinction.

A lot of existing mods may not work or function correctly with the Extinction map, so take this into account when you change to Extinction. At first it may be best to run a vanilla server while the mod developers fix any bugs.

How big is the ARK: Survival Evolved Extinction DLC download?
Around 20GB in total. The server downloads it with SteamCMD when you run a Steam update in the control panel, which may take some time.
The Steam update says it is up to date, but Extinction is missing. What now?

Will my mods work on Extinction?
