Server configuration can be done via Configuration Files in the game panel. The server must be stopped first before making any changes to the server.
Why are my configuration changes not being applied to my server?
In order for your changes to be applied you must first stop the server. Changes made with the server online will not apply. Stop the server, make your changes again, save them and start the server.
Setup and server status
How long do I have to wait for my service to be active after purchase?
After purchasing a game server it can take up to 15 minutes for the server to fully install. Dedicated Machines can take up to 24 hours depending on the hardware. VPS Servers can take up to 15-20 minutes for installation to complete.
What happens if my server shows unknown?
Unknown can be caused by control panel updates and normally resolves within a few moments. If it does not come back from unknown, please open a support ticket with our team.
Logs, reinstalls and wipes
How can I view server logs?
Server logs are important and can be found in the Log Viewer button on your control panel. They can both be streamed and downloaded. Guide: How to view your ARK Survival Evolved server logs.
How can I reinstall my server?
Stop the server, press MORE and choose Reinstall, keep the window open until it finishes, then start the server. On older panels this was the Actions tab at the top of your gamepanel, where you selected the reinstallation option from the dropdown menu.
A reinstall deletes all server files, including your world. Download a backup first if you might want it back.

Servers can be wiped via the Wipe Server button on your game panel. Guide: How to wipe your ARK Survival Evolved server.
Switching game or location, and clusters
How can I switch my game server if I want to play another game?
Switch from the Client Area: open your server under Services › My Services and press Switch Game Server. Use this, not the Switch Game button on your control panel. Your current server is backed up first. If your service does not have this option, please open a support ticket with our team, and we can switch your server.
How can I switch server location?
You can request a location move yourself: in the Client Area open your server under Services › My Services, choose Upgrade/Downgrade Options and pick the new location. You can also open a ticket and our team can switch to the requested location. Your IP and port change with the move.
How can I cluster ARK servers?
ARK servers can be clustered via the support ticket system, and it requires 2 or more servers in order to cluster the servers together. Guide: How to enable cross travel cluster ARK Survival Evolved servers.
Billing
I paid late but my server still shows suspended/terminated. What now?
If you have not paid your bill on time and your server is suspended or terminated, you will need to contact our support team to reactivate / recreate the server for you once you have paid the invoice. Unpaid services end at 6 days overdue, so pay renewal invoices before the due date.
