Change your ARK server CPU package yourself in the Client Area: pick the new CPU option under Upgrade/Downgrade Options, pay any difference and restart the server to apply it.
A stronger CPU package helps your ARK Survival Evolved server when it lags at busy times or runs heavy mods. If you need less power, downgrade the same way.
How to upgrade or downgrade your ARK server CPU package
- Log in to your Client Area.
- Go to the Services › My Services menu in the top menu bar.
- Click the service you want to upgrade or downgrade in the list.
- Click Upgrade/Downgrade Options in the menu on the left.
- Change the CPU field to the new configuration you want and press the Click to Continue button.
- Restart your server (*).
(*) If you are upgrading the CPU, an invoice with the price difference is generated. Once it's paid, just restart your server to apply the new CPU.
Change more than the CPU
The same Upgrade/Downgrade Options page also changes your RAM, hardware package and player slots:
- Upgrade or downgrade your ARK server RAM package

A hardware package change can move your server to another machine, so your IP and port may change. Check CONNECTION INFO in the game panel afterwards.

How do I change my ARK server CPU package?
In the Client Area open Services › My Services, click your ARK server, press Upgrade/Downgrade Options, pick the new CPU option and press Click to Continue. Pay the invoice for any difference, then restart the server.
Do I need a bigger CPU package?
Open Activity and Stats in the game panel while your server is busy. CPU use close to the top at peak times means an upgrade will help. See how to view your ARK server statistics.
I paid but nothing changed. What now?
Restart the server: the new CPU package only applies on a fresh start. If it still looks the same, open a ticket and we'll check it.
