Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Hosting: Race Weekends & Rules
The official ACC dedicated server, ready to race. Build your own race weekend, set the weather, and run a league with its own rules, grid and balance.
Choose the track and build the weekend from practice, qualifying and race sessions, each with its own length, start hour and time multiplier.
P, Q & RSet temperature, clouds and rain, or let the weather change on its own. The track rubbers in and gets wet or dries as the weekend goes on.
Static to DramaticOn a private server, set mandatory pit stops, pit windows, refuelling and tyre change rules, and share a car between drivers for endurance races.
Endurance ReadyTie drivers to their Steam accounts, fix car numbers and custom liveries, mark server admins, and lock a private server to your league's grid.
League GridsAdd ballast and restrictor for car and track combinations, or per entry, to keep a mixed grid close.
Close RacingRun a public server with your own safety, racecraft and track medal requirements, or set a password for a private server with admin and spectator passwords.
Your Grid, Your RulesAlready running ACC on your own PC or with another host? Upload your configuration files and entry lists through the File Manager or SFTP and carry on with the next round. Our 24/7 team can help with the move or handle it for you.
How Many Slots Does My Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Need?
Pick a slot for every driver and spectator who will be connected at the same time. Every server includes up to 5GB of RAM, and you can add slots whenever your grid grows.
| Slots | Best for | From |
|---|---|---|
| 8 slotsStart Here | Hotlapping, coaching sessions and races with a few friends | A$7.20/mo |
| 16 slots | A regular club grid with room for a spectator or two | A$13.77/mo |
| 24 slots | Busy sprint race nights | A$15.49/mo |
| 32 slots | A full public grid of 30 cars, or a league race night | A$17.52/mo |
| 48 slots | Large private championships with spectators and stewards | A$23.47/mo |
| 64 slots | Big private grids at the larger circuits and endurance events | A$28.79/mo |
On grid size: Kunos' Server Admin Handbook limits a public server to the track's pit boxes or 30 cars, whichever is lower, while a private server can use every pit box: 50 at most tracks, 60 at Monza and Silverstone, 82 at Spa-Francorchamps and 110 on the Nürburgring 24h layout. Spectators do not take a pit box. On memory, the included 5GB is generous for the ACC server; watch live usage in the control panel and change your slots or memory at any time from your client area.

+The Complete Guide to Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Hosting in Australia & Worldwide
Everything you need to know before you rent an Assetto Corsa Competizione server in Australia or any of GTX Gaming's worldwide datacentres, from joining and building a race weekend to public and private servers, entry lists, pit stop rules, Balance of Performance, slots, pricing and locations.
What Is Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Hosting?
Assetto Corsa Competizione server hosting is a managed service that runs the official ACC dedicated server on professional hardware in a datacentre, around the clock, so your grid can race whether or not you are at your PC. Every GTX Gaming Assetto Corsa Competizione server includes up to 5GB of RAM, up to 100GB of NVMe storage, daily automatic backups, enterprise DDoS protection and a web control panel that turns jobs like restarting the server, changing the track or editing the entry list into a few clicks.
People look for it as an Assetto Corsa Competizione dedicated server, an Assetto Corsa Competizione game server, an ACC server or simply an ACC server to rent, and they all mean the same thing: a private, always-on home for your own Assetto Corsa Competizione server, with your sessions, your rules and your drivers. If you race the original Assetto Corsa instead, see our Assetto Corsa server hosting.
What Is Assetto Corsa Competizione?
Assetto Corsa Competizione is the official GT World Challenge game, a GT racing simulation developed by the Italian studio Kunos Simulazioni and published by 505 Games. It was released on Steam on 29 May 2019, followed by versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in June 2020 and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in February 2022.
- GT3 and GT4 racing: the cars and circuits of the GT World Challenge, with further cars and tracks in DLC packs such as the British GT Pack, the GT4 Pack and the 24H Nürburgring Pack.
- Real race weekends: practice, qualifying and race sessions, from short sprints to endurance races with pit stops and driver swaps.
- Weather and a living track: dynamic weather, night racing and a track surface that changes as rubber goes down and as it gets wet or dries.
- Online racing: a rating system for safety and racecraft, public lobbies and private servers for leagues and friends.
Why Rent an Assetto Corsa Competizione Server?
The ACC dedicated server comes with the game on Steam, so you could run it from a spare machine at home. Most leagues and clubs rent an Assetto Corsa Competizione server instead, for reasons that show up on the first race night:
- Always online: the server runs 24 hours a day, so drivers can practise before a race without waiting for someone to start it.
- Nothing to run at home: no ports to open on your router and no PC left running, and your own PC stays free for driving.
- Proper hardware: high-frequency CPUs and NVMe storage in a datacentre, with DDoS protection at the network edge, so a race is not decided by a home connection.
- Backups and support: daily automatic backups and a 24/7 support team mean a broken configuration file is an inconvenience, not a cancelled round.
Getting Started & Joining Your Assetto Corsa Competizione Server
Your server is set up the moment you order and starts with a ready-made race weekend. From there, getting your grid onto the track typically looks like this:
- Order: choose your slots and location, and your server is set up instantly.
- Name it: give the server its own name in the settings file so drivers can find it.
- Set the weekend: pick the track, sessions and weather in the event file.
- Join: in Assetto Corsa Competizione open the multiplayer server list, find your server by its name and enter the password if you set one.
The server's IP address and ports are shown in your control panel, and the Web Console shows the server's own output, so you can see straight away which track and session it is running.
Race Weekends, Sessions & Weather on an Assetto Corsa Competizione Server
An ACC server is configured through a small set of JSON files, which you edit from Configuration Files in the control panel. Kunos documents every option in the official Server Admin Handbook, which comes with the server and is posted in the official Server Admin Handbook thread; our panel links to it too. The race weekend lives in the event file:
- Track: the circuit the weekend runs on.
- Sessions: any mix of practice, qualifying and race, each with its own length, day of the weekend, start hour and time multiplier.
- Weather: ambient temperature, cloud level and rain, plus a weather randomness value from 0 for static weather, through 1 to 4 for fairly realistic changes, to 5 to 7 for more dramatic ones.
- Dynamic track: the surface rubbers in and reacts to rain and drying across the whole weekend.
Restart the server after saving and the new weekend starts for everyone. Admins can also move things along during a session with chat commands, for example skipping to the next session or restarting the current one.
Public & Private Servers, Passwords & Entry Requirements
Whether your server is public or private decides which rules it can use. The settings file holds the passwords and the entry requirements:
- Public: no password. Anyone can join, up to the track's pit boxes or 30 cars, and you can set minimum track medals, safety rating and racecraft rating so that only experienced drivers get in.
- Private: set a password and the server is declared Private Multiplayer. It can then use every pit box on the track, your own pit stop and assist rules, and a forced entry list.
- Admin password: lets a driver log in as admin in the chat and use the admin commands, including kicking, banning and penalising drivers.
- Spectator password: lets people watch a race without taking a car.
Drivers on your entry list always bypass the rating requirements, which is handy for a league whose members are still building their ratings.
Leagues, Entry Lists, Pit Stops & Balance of Performance
For a league or championship a private server gives you the tools the real series uses:
- Entry list: link each driver to their Steam account, fix race numbers and custom liveries, mark server admins, and force the entry list so only your drivers can join.
- Pit stop rules: mandatory pit stops, the length of the pit window, and whether refuelling, tyre changes or a driver swap are required.
- Driver swaps: list several drivers for one car and share it through an endurance race.
- Balance of Performance: add ballast and restrictor for car and track combinations, or for a single entry, to keep a mixed field close.
- Formation lap: choose the formation lap type the race starts with.
If you are moving a league from another host, upload its configuration files and entry list through the File Manager or SFTP and restart: the next round runs exactly as before.
How Much Does Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Hosting Cost in Australia?
Pricing is simple: you pay for the number of slots, with up to 5GB of RAM and up to 100GB of NVMe storage included on every server:
- 8 slots: from A$7.20/mo. Hotlapping, coaching and races with a few friends.
- 16 slots: from A$13.77/mo. A regular club grid.
- 24 slots: from A$15.49/mo. Busy sprint race nights.
- 32 slots: from A$17.52/mo. A full public grid or a league race night.
- 48 slots: from A$23.47/mo. Large private championships.
- 64 slots: from A$28.79/mo. Big private grids and endurance events.
All plans include instant setup, DDoS protection, daily automatic backups and 24/7 support, with no setup fee and no contract. Billing is monthly by default, with three-month, six-month and yearly cycles available at a discount, and you can change plan or cancel at any time.
How Many Slots Does an Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Need?
Choose a slot for every driver and spectator who will be connected at the same time. How many cars can actually take the track depends on the circuit and on the type of server: the official Server Admin Handbook limits a public server to the track's unique pit boxes or 30 cars, whichever is lower, while a private server can use every pit box, which is 50 at most tracks, 60 at Monza and Silverstone, 82 at Spa-Francorchamps and 110 on the Nürburgring 24h layout. Spectators do not take a pit box. A public grid is therefore well served by 32 slots, and big private events by 48 or 64. On memory, Kunos does not publish a memory figure, and the up to 5GB included with every server is generous: our own demo server used under 20MB while idling at Spa. The control panel shows live memory use, so you can see exactly what a full grid needs.
Locations for Assetto Corsa Competizione Server Hosting
In close wheel-to-wheel racing every millisecond of latency counts, so host close to your drivers.
