ARK ASCENDED VPS AND DEDI SERVERS

Due to a licensing deal between Nitrado and Snail Games, we are unable to host ARK: Survival Ascended game servers using our traditional cloud system. Communities can host ARK Ascended game servers using a virtual dedicated server or a dedicated server.  Using a VDS server to host an ARK server is more complicated than traditional game server hosting. Cons

  • PRICE

    A VDS will be more expensive than a standalone game server. The game servers that you traditionally see are hosted in a shared environment, typically 15-50 game servers per dedicated server. This can cause lag if one user has a memory leak or poorly scripted mods can spam the CPU until the administrators intervene and solve the issue. 

  • EXTRA CONFIGURATION

    Configuring your game server will have more steps to it than simply using shared game server hosting. There are guides we can link you to that show exactly how its done step by step. The entire process will take around 15 minutes for a first time user and a few minutes if you know what you are doing.
